Get to know Your Coach!
Maybe we’ve just met, but I think it’s important to get a sense of the kind of coach you want to work with! So here’s the overview:
I grew up in the Bay Area of California and got my Bachelor’s in Creative Writing, and I also interned as a developmental editor at Future House Publishing. I’ve always loved storytelling, and I also love talking to other artists about what they’re working on.
In 2023 I became a certified coach with Author Accelerator after studying with them for 2 years. I also write nonfiction books to help writers get their stories out of their head and into their manuscript.
And like you, I’m a writer too! My favorite genres are sword and sorcery, epic fantasy, and romantasy.

I love fantasy novels! I grew up reading Tamora Pierce, and my current favorite books are The Locked Tomb series by Tamsyn Muir. I also edit romance novels, including M/F, M/M, and F/F.
For the genres I don’t work with, here’s a handy list:

I’m a developmental editor, meaning I’m the kind to help you scan for narrative problems instead of grammar ones. I’m currently not available to book for proofreading or line editing for manuscripts.
If you are an active client, I can still provide feedback on any grammar problems! I’ll coach you on how to avoid such problems in your drafts.
I don’t offer ghostwriting as part of my packages, so I won’t be writing your book for you.
If you are not satisfied with my coaching, you can request a full refund up to 14 days after our initial meeting.
After that, I can provide a refund of up to 75% of the full price if you are unable to complete your contract for any reason. Canceling requires 30 days advanced notice so we can wrap up our notes and finish with a strong plan.
